The Song of Solomon Wedding Company is a multimedia brand focusing on capturing your special day in a visual creative way. 

Our Creative Director 

My name is Kareem Caines aka Bronx Emcee. Besides being a videographer, I am a Holy Hip Hop Artist, former youth pastor (twice), and graphic designer. I run a Holy Hip Hop media company called Xnorb Nation Enterprises which houses the brand The Song Of Solomon Wedding Company.

I currently live in the Bronx, New York with my lovely wife, daughter and son. 

Our Story

The genesis of this brand started around of 2014. A former student’s parent encouraged me to start doing weddings. He was a photographer, and told me he could use my skill set when he got wedding jobs. At the time I wasn’t sure. Weddings are a big deal, and someone’s special day. With that in mind, I didn’t want to mess up capturing the special moments of that day. 

I had done video jobs successfully up to that point, but I hadn’t ventured into weddings.  As God saw fit, an opportunity arose to get my feet wet in this arena of videography in June 2015. A young man in my church was getting married and I was invited. I wasn’t sure he had a videographer, but I brought my camera with me anyway. Two years earlier I gave my same camera to him to be my third wedding photographer at my wedding and did an excellence job. This young man is like a little brother to me so when he saw me while he was at the altar with my camera ready too work he gave me permission on the spot to video record his wedding. I created a highlight video from what I recorded and they loved it. Two weeks later my cousin got married in New Hampshire. I went to the wedding with my camera in hand not sure if she had a videographer. Come to find out she did but the video he produced and mine were like night and day. They loved mine and that became their official wedding video. I did the same thing another time for a couple that was getting married at my church. It was small wedding so there weren’t any plans for a videographer and my Pastor told them I should shoot it for them. They love the final results too. At that point I was confident enough to do weddings. 

It was important to me that I separated my wedding business brand from my other multimedia business. I began looking for a name that represented the values I believe in, and the love stories I wanted to tell. The Song of Solomon name is taken from a book in the Bible. If you ever read the book you realize it is very different in subject matter from the rest of the Bible. The book celebrates sexual love, giving "the voices of two lovers, praising each other, yearning for each other, proffering invitations to enjoy.” I added wedding company because we aspire to do more then just videography over time.
